Research Projects
Research through the Dudley Smith Initiative is separated into two distinct programs: 1) DSystems Program, 2) DSynergy Program.
DSystems
The DSystems Program is a multi-year; multi-disciplinary program focused on broad agriculture and community systems (up to five years).

- Research funding not available each year for DSystems projects

DSynergy
The DSynergy Program is single-year projects for groups seeking to define how their research and outreach can be integrated across disciplinary boundaries.
- Seeks to understand the different synergies between research programs
- Integrating disciplinary boundaries
- Research funding is available each year for DSynergy projects
- Level of Funding set aside for these projects
- Examples of DSynergy projects
- Current and past use of the Dudley Smith Farm for these projects
